Have A 1978 115hp Took In To Shop For Water In Cylinder.was Bad Head Gasket.when I Got It Home Started It Up Runs Great Again.water Coming Out Of Pee Hole Very Strong & Cold.then Something I Have Not Noticed Before Water Coming Out Of Two Hole Below Were Thermostat Is Water Was Hot.went Back Out 45 Minutes Later Started Again Pee Hole Still Good But No Water Coming Out Of Two Other Holes.what I Need To Know Is After Motor Is Running How Soon Should Water Come Out Of The 2 Holes Under Thermostat.because I Am Wounding If Thermostat Is No Good & Engine Got Hot & Screwed Up My Head Gaskets.

How about a photo of the 2 holes and where you think the thermostats are.

If you are speaking of the two holes in the back of the midsection, those are exhaust relief holes. Warm water should spray out them anytime the motor is running. But have the motor in the lake before you pass judgement on that because back pressure from the exhaust comes into play.

The pee hole is before the water gets to the powerhead so water at that point is cold.
