i have a 88 125 force outboard can i run it without a thermostat to increase the water flow through the motor thanks if ya can answer this

Yes you can run it without a thermostat, however, it will not be running at optimal temperature. The motor was designed to run at a specific temperature range for best performance. If you're having water flow or cooling problems, removing the thermostat is just a temporary band aid. Replacing the impeller and or thermostat usually fixes water flow or cooling issues. Sometimes the impeller housing (water pump housing) gets groves cut into the cavity where the impeller sits reducing impeller efficiency and requires replacement to restore maximum water flow.
