No. a blockage somewhere will, however. might be the grommet for the water tube under the powerhead, a bad waterpump, torn pump grommet, or a blockage in the water passages at powerhead.

No----On most motors the water coming out the tell tale does not even go through the motor at all.------Thermostat on your motor usually fails in the open position.----So why are you asking this question ?

If water pump is new then maybe the wee hose or fitting off the block is plugged.----If testing in a bucket the water needs to be 6" above the impeller.

OK. Today was the first day we used a garbage can full of water. Ill put it on the muffs and see what happens.

the garbage can method is better, as it puts backpressure on the motor.just be sure it's not sucking anything up. take the hose out of the nipple, and blow into it. might just be clogged. is it overheating? water coming out the exhaust ?

No temp gauge. The second I saw the water stop flowing from the pee hole I shut it down so it would not over heat the engine or melt the impeller in the water pump. There was no water flowing from the two exhaust holes under the engine.

I know the diagram shows that kit but it also shows gasket # 325535 as the gasket that belongs on the top of the metal plate!

This gasket dose not come in the kit. It look like they may have replaced it with a odd shaped o ring type seal. Anybody know what is going on with this?

Why is the gasket # 64 not in the kit? Look at the link below.
