Well today i checked the prop and it has no numbers on it but is 14" across. I then decided to check to make sure carb is opening up all the way. Well the plates were not. They would only open maybe 70% of the way open with throttle all the way to the ground. SO i adj the linkage and now the plates do vertical like it should. Motor even sounds better reving it in driveway. The real test will come on saturday when we go grouper digging. I'm pretty sure this is it. This would also explane why it would take so long to plane out and why i had a problem in that slop on sunday.

Thanks for ideas

original post

http://www.iboats.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=24;t=011393

Big-E
