Im thinking of installing a ski pylon on my bass boat and have been looking at the Swivel Eze.

But the rear pedestal seat on my boat is on the part of the rear deck that folds up for access to the batteries and bilge.

I really dont think i should attach a ski pylon to something that is only held on by two hinges am i right?

Has anyone else done this? or do the two support bars mounted to the transom actually hold all of the weight?

Im also wondering if there are any other ways to do this that anybody has come up with?

Im attaching a pic of my boat

Re: Thinking about installing a ski pylon need advice

I have a question..i am new to this site and i own a 2000 Bayliner 175. My question is.. I have been giving a new skylon for a gift and the problem is- I dont have a ski tow hitch in the floor like most boats come factory with. So much question is how hard would it be to install one on my boat in the floor. Please help!
