Thinking about planning a trip to the gulf from PA

I was just wondering if anyone on here has made the trip from Pittsburgh PA to the Gulf... I was trying to find info online but havent come across anything usefull. Im not planning on leaving till some time in july. Im just courious on how many actual miles by water, fueling, resturants, and places to tie up for the night with power. Any info would be helpfull Thanks!

Do a search for the US Corp of Civil Engineers. There you can access the navigational charts for each of the pools. The charts will show the marinas, ramps, locks, dams, and channel markers.

I would like to take that trip sometime, but may have to wait when I retire. One other trip would be to go from Pittsburg down to the Tennesse River and follow it up stream through most of the southern states.

I would guess that you might could find some info if you google "The great loop" or "the great circle"....YMMV
