Google 'cmc power tilt trim'
That's what the PO put on the boat I got from him.. it's the tower of power in my sig.. seems to work just fine :)

Depending on the year of the motor, Merc made several different kinds of PTT. What is the serial number?

Re: thinking about putting ptt on an old merc

I've got a 1971 Merc 800 that I put PTT on a few years ago. Installation is relatively easy, but locating a good working system is much harder. The system that I installed was the Merc unit that has two hydraulic cylinders (in place of the existing shocks) and the pump/reservoir mounting in the boat. The cylinders are connected to the pump/reservoir via 4 hoses.
