My thoughts are that it is a pretty small boat for a family larger than 4. If you are looking to get out on the water with no frills, on the cheap, it fits the bill. My take on frills having both an all frills Chaparral and a no frills Bayliner, the kids don't care as much about them as I do. The both do the same thing, but one does it all a lot better, and in a more comfortable fashion.
