Fist off I am the one that started the thread Swapping OMC to Mercury.. Well thats all in the past now.. Now I have found a 1999 evinrude 90hp.. I have a 1999 Johnson 40hp that I am wanting to replace.. My question is.. Will all the wireing an everything hook right up to this 90hp engine.. The guy that I am taking to about it says that it will.. But I am wondering if he is just telling me this to get my to buy the engine.. My model number on the 1999 40hp is J40plssm.. The 90 hp is E90FPLEEN.. Any experts out there care to toss int here 2 cents on this?? Thanks in advance...
