I cant believe the knowledge being shared here and how the given advice is spot-on most of the time.Of all the forums on the net that address outboards I must say that this is the BEST ONE OUT THERE......PERIOD!

Yes. Among everyone here, we have broken every piece of every model of Johnson/Evinrude from 1945-2005 and had to fix it at one time or another. It's good to share the info from our misfortune.....

The prices on boat parts here are very good too!I am gonna go after one of those top mount controls soon...mine is a little sticky from age,etc.Me and my Johnson V4 90hp Thank you guys.........

There is also a tech rep from Sierra, who pops up in the threads occassionally. That's a really great thing, because he/she adds professional expertise to that of the many current and retired OMC mechs that frequent the forum.
