This video was taken less than an hour from my house. This guy is NUTS. My boat would have been back on the trailer.

At first I thought I was going to see a guy on a really junked up raft fishing. My jaw dropped when I saw the video and they said those where gators. Oh no!!!!! Not me.......

I think he needs a bigger boat to get through that mess of flesh eating machines! YIKES! Just when did he realize that he was in the middle of feeding gators??? That's one good ole' boy that needs to pay better attention!

I have fished in that swamp, I would bet some of those gators were bigger, longer, whatever you want to call it, than that boat he was in, I hooked a gator in the left front foot, he was wider and longer than the boat I was in, I let him keep the hook.

This might be a really silly question, but couldn't one of those gators very easily tip that jonboat over???

I've seen gators in that swamp who's back is probably as wide as the boat he was in. Also, even the little gators are dangerous. They could easily jump into the boat. Then what are you going to do? Its not like you'd have the option to jump out.

I'd go fishing whith that guy. In Florida, and I assume elsewhere, the gator population is getting out of hand. I live on an island surrounded by saltwater and a few have been spoted here. They are good eating and make a great watch band or suitcase. They can be caught on topwater lures with rod and reel. He who goes into swamp alone comes out left-handed....only.

Surely he must have had some nice ones spotted to risk that!!! Not even I am that stupid. If his boat were flipped by a big gator he would have gotten an even closer look at the "feeding frenzy"!
