That looks more like he chewed up momma's new shoes, then tore the begeesus out of dad's favorite chair!

I can use this!! I'm trying to sell Mrs. QC on a Beagle. The boys are all with me, but she's holding out. Hey harkawy, do you know any good Breeders up there?

Re: This is what

I have no idea how much those cute little guys cost, nor do I know of breeders. I copied the image from one of the other forums that I lurk on.

And yes. "You're going to do what with my what? Oy Vey!"

gonefishie,

Beagles are around $800 to $1000 for a good pup.

Re: This is what

No. Go get them from the pound. There is no need to get a dog from a breeder when you can save a dogs life by getting it from the pound. The breeders don't put them to sleep so quickly because of the chance of money to be made. Save a dogs life... Get them from the pound or side of the road or something. They are the ones that NEED you.

Hmmmm..did that with my dogs..the don't pee on the rug. You'll get farther and better results training a dog with positive actions than negative actions.

I sure can't let my oldest see this one. She's been begging for a beagle for years! I agree totally on the pound option! When I was a kid, my Dad took me to pick up my first dog at the pound, and he "talked" and snuggled with us all the way home! It was if he knew. To quote the skidboot thread: "And some people say they can't think." HOGWASH! 8)

What I find amazing about this particular thread is the sensitivity and tenderness exhibited by those responding.
I applaud you all.

My difficulty is that on other forums there are those that support stem-cell research.

No!
I am NOT trying to highjack this thread (and will not respond to outside comment); only expressing my appreciation for the good thoughts expressed herein.

I'm not really an animal lover but that Pup sure is cute (can't let my wife see it).
