What a weekend.. seemed like more work than play.
Went to mark twain lake with 20 friends.
I was sick friday night, didn't even get to put my boat in the water until 10 saturday.

Had my Celebrity Bow Rider, Nephew borrowed brother's Brother's Fish 'n Ski, and a friend borrowed her parrents pontoon boat

We head to a cove less than a mile from the marina, as 12 people are on the toon with a 40hp moter.... VERY slow.

We pull up to shore and hang out for a few hours to swim.

When it's time to go play some more, I push off from shore, dropp my out drive, and put her in reverse... as the clutch assembly in my tilt explodes... the skeg hit the mud and the OD didn't get locked in the down position. I am now dead on the water... Brother's boat pulls me back to the ramp.

Now we have 16 people (maxed out) on the pontoon boat and 6 coolers and head to the beach... mile the other way from marina.

When pushing off from the beach, the outboard motor gets caught in the sand, and rips the very rotten transom board. Now dead in the water.

Brother's boat takes 5 people back to marina with a few coolers and they get cars and drive to beach to pick everyone up. He then tows the pontoon back to the marina.

His boat survived and saved the day....TWICE.

What I learned from this weekend.... Don't go boating with 20 people, when your the only one that owns a boat.
