Red (permanent) locktite states is only water resistant whereas blue (non permanent) states is waterproof. Anything available that is both waterproof and only removeable with high heat that can withstand vibrations from boat/motor running? Thanks!

What is it that your are trying to accomplish?
Im securing the ends of an actuator to a jack plate and just didn’t want the nuts to loosen over time with the movement of the surrounding environment and the vibrations

Careful using thread lockers !! Some REQUIRE HEAT to loosen up their grip. Our normal motors SHOULD NOT need thread lockers.

As stated, stainless with nylon stop nuts are the way to go.No thread locker needed. You can use 2 if you dont trust them.I have double on my outboard mounting.Charlie

I didn't see anything to suggest that this is a thread locker.Reads more like a gasket maker /sealant.More likely to be used to be able to disassemble things more easily. Charlie
Been using it for almost 40 years as a thread locker AND gasket maker AND anti-sieze
