Threaded hinge pin?

I have what I believe is a 290 duoprop from 1986. The hinge pins have a slot for a flathead screw driver. All videos I have saw show a smooth pin and people using a slide hammer or punching them through. Does this model have a threaded pin? I'm afraid of beating on it, if it is threaded.

The slot is there to help line up the groove for the socket head bolt which holds the pin in place.

early ones do not have the slide hammer threaded hole, later ones do.

pull the keeper bolts, drive the pins inward with a brass drift.
