I don't have an original Homelite/Bearcat control box or cables. I'm thinking to use a 1980ish OMC single lever box. I think the push/pull logic is correct (push to open throttle, pull for forward gear) but am not sure that the stroke dimentions are correct. Aside from that, the motor has clips on the pan for 33 type cables but I do not see how to attach the 10 x 32 threaded ends to the motor. And maybe this style cable does not want to connect to an OMC control box?
