Is this an easy fix? It has broken close to the rotary part of the outboard can I simply diy a new attachment point that holds the cable and JB weld it onto that broken point or is it easy to replace from another outboard? If so how do I go about replacing it, I would rather do which ever is safer and can be done by myself. I have attached a photo pf what the attachment should look like, I will see about getting pics of the broken point. Any help would be appreciated

Re: Throttle cable connection point

from what i can see it is broken at the green arrow. i don't believe JB weld will hold it. you are probably going to have to find a replacement, installation is easy. probably tcoutboards.com call them.
