I have a 63' 40hp bigtwin evinrude Lark V with selectric shift. My throttle assembly seems to be sticky. Can I switch out the cable (which is 4ft to long anyways)? Does anyone have a fairly cheap suggestion??<br /><br />Thanks
Changing out the cable is not a hard job at all. When you have the control box apart, give it a good cleaning, and apply fresh lube. It will work much smoother when you are done.
