Throttle cable routing

Does anyone have pictures they could share showing the routing of the throttle cable on a 1993 Evinrude 15hp. I’m just concerned about the loop in the cable. Looks odd to me. Thx..

A "LOOP" in the throttle cable? Post a picture of that setup. Such cables usually have enough length to fit the situation but not too much more. Pop up a picture or three and allow us to offer suggestions of a better setup...if possible.

This is the routing. I found one other 15hp on a YouTube video and this is the routing of the cable.,

After I put the carburetor breather on. There is a hook on the breather that holds the cable in place. All good now. Thx
