Hi, so I have this new to me motor, mounted on boat, and starting to look at cables and wiring. Force is new to me, so I could not visualize how the cables connect (dont have cables yet). Could someone look at this pic and explain? I see several threaded studs without obvious purpose. Thanks for the help.

The threaded studs are for an anchor point(2)
The other should be where the cable connects for the shift/ throttle.
Where's the nuts and washers?
Might be metric??
Top is for the shifter the bottom is the motor connections.

Thanks. The nuts washes are missing. I may have one. Anything else that seems to be missing besides the cables?

These cables were on the boat, I think used with an early 80s force/chrysler. This wouldnt work correct?

Those cables are the old Force/ Chrysler.
If the shifter is the F/C you'll need to change that too.

THANKS. Got the cables. Is there a hardware store substutite for the little bushings that pilot on the anchor studs for the cables?

The cable should just slide over the studs and held in place with the 4 nuts and washers.

Closer pics of the area??

Well I see it on parts drawings. From marineengine.com. The assembly drawing shows two bushings that slide on the stud. They are listed as $5.40 each so i hope i dont need them :) thanks alot

There's a black plastic barrel with a threaded hole and is on the cable. It also has a non-threaded hole that slips over the studs. The hole is oversize, the bushings make up the difference. It might work without them, but would be real sloppy.
