Throttle Control Aq volvo removal

Im trying to replace my shift cable on my aq 151. For the life of me I can't figure out how to remove the shifter from the boat so I can get to the back side and replace cable.

Anyone know a trick, other than removing the entire side panel. Or better yet a diagram.

Well, they vary depending on the model but if it looks like mine, I removed the handle, then the square plastic cover behind that also just popped off with a screwdriver revieling the mounting screws behind. removed the four screws holding the controls and pulled it out the access right behind where there is a cutout in the side panel.

Yep, that is the same as mine, I took the handle off, but didn't see any screws and didn't want to break anything.

Ill see if I can pop that square cover off.
