Throttle control? Unknown

Okay my throttle control has been messed up ever since i took it off to get the cylinder head on. i took the end off at the control lever. It is still hard to move from move the cable by hand but the lever works fine. Should it be hard to move a control cable by hand? Anyway i move the engine take it off and move the lever. Works perfect like its spose too. then i try to move the throttle on the carb works good(moves like a feather). So then they both seem to move freely put it on, now it doesnt????? I dont get it i tried moving to different places still nothing. Although i still cant move the cable by hand? but its easy from the lever. Did you get all that.Should i just replace it ?

It should move freely, sounds like it needs to be replaced.

took it out and it moves super easy now. Could it be a peice of metal is in there and when i bend it it is harder to push. Plus i think my cable is way to long it has like all this bends in it and if it were a foot shorter it would work. should i get one that is a foot smaller? or is it spose to have alot of bends?
