Hi all,<br /><br />Have a question on a 2005 180 sport throttle and shift control lever. It's lable F, N, and R on it. The manual said to start a cold engine, "to press throttle only button and move shift/throttle lever forward to full open throttle, then return to about 1/4 throttle. "<br /><br />My question is when moving the lever to 1/4 poistion is it from the N (neutral) mark or from the F (forward) mark. I'm assumming I'm suppose to put it in front of the F(forward) mark.<br /><br />Thanks.

Re: throttle control

From neutral....I leave it at the point where if I move any further towards neutral it will re-engage into the shift mode...(after pumping)...In your case it says once, to set the choke....I pump mine twice.....JK
