I owned a Ski Nautique and we wakeboarded all the time. I just bought a 19' Bayliner Capri that had LOW LOW hours and is in as close to NEW shape as I could imagine a boat would be.
Well we went out the other day for the first time to Wakeboard and I could not believe how much I had to play with the throttle. On my Nautique I could pretty much throttle with very little fluctuation in speed, but in this boat as soon as the Wakeboarder turns or jumps the speed is really effected. Is this normal?? This is my first I/O so any info will help. I thought about a Hydrofoil, but have yet to read anything positive about them. Smart Tabs seem to be the way to go? Thanks in advance
