Can anyone direct me to correct throttle/timing syncronization instructions for these vintage Johnson / Evinrude "big twins", 35/40 hp 1959-1960. It would be great to see results of tests using slight variations in both directions of both adjustment and so on. It might be a good way to troubleshoot conditions, and to tune for optimal performance now that these items have worn for almost 50 years. It's smart to learn from experience, but really smart to learn from others' experience. Thanks again for all the assistance.
