All the transom through hulls are leaking. 2 livewell and the transom plug. Is 5200 the best for through hull installation? Does anyone make solid replacement fittings? I have no need for the livewells and would just as soon not have holes in the back of my boat.

How do you remove the metal tube that the transom plug fits into ?

If I go with new metal through hulls someone explain the "hull bonding" thing to me.

Thanks
rj

Were do you use your boat at?Bonding is not needed if the boat is not left in the water for long times.
The metal tube that is for the transom drain normaly is flanged on inside and out.To replace it,one must grind off the flange and pop it out.Installing a new one,one should glass it in place.
Thru hulls, use 5200.its the best that can be use below the water line.
