Through transom exhaust

I have a 1996 Glastron GS 205 that has the 5.7L mercruiser engine in it. I want to put through transom exhaust on it but don't know of a good way to do it. I could run them out of the sides of the boat but I don't like the way it sounds that way. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Just add the necessary length of pipe you need and shoot it out the transom.
A tad bit more involved than that but in principle - that's it!

That is it only mine has a mercruiser instead of a penta.

There is a builder here that installs them low enough that you could do it on the transom and still be below that curved radius:

They've been doing it like this for years . . .
