Re: Thru Hull
I had thru hulls on my 1987 Four Winns 211 Liberator when it had the 460 King Cobra in it. I also had the Capts Call selectable exhaust.
It made a HUGE difference in noise. It made NO difference in performance, zero, zip, nada. Everybody that rode in my boat yelled at me to "turn it off!!!" every time I went thru-hull.
When I installed the BBC and Bravo III (which by the way, came out of a 98 23' Bayliner) I neglected to install the Capts Call. I still have the holes in the back (I glued them shut) , but it just wasn't worth it to re-install the Capts call.
If you want more performance, pull the 5.7 & Alpha and put a BBC and Bravo I or III in it.
Cheers,
Rick
