Thrust Hub = Thrust Washer

Looking at the breakdown of my Alpha One drive... the item is listed as the thrust hub. that is the "thrust washer" that is mentioned in these forums regarding propellor replacements?

Without knowing Exactly what you're looking at,...

I'd say, Yes,... They're 1,+ the Same....

The manual calls it a Thrust hub, but any parts list shows it as thrust washer??

That being said.. do I need to replace it if I am replacing a prop?

Ayuh,....

That'll depend on the thrust face surface of the Prop.....

Some props use a Stepped hub,...
Some props use a Flat hub,....
And,....
Some props use No Hub at All,.... It's cast in-place....
