ok, im just wondering what the right way to put a thrust washer on. the local boat shop tried to tell me that it doesnt matter what the bevel angle is on the thrust washer. and he tried to sell me a mariner prop that was 3/8 of an inch to short for my mercury. he was trying to space it out with flat washers not the proper thrust washer with the correct bevel angle. im no profesional boat mechanic, but i know that the bevel angle have to line up correctly. then he told me to leave and never come back when i told him this. what a redneck boat repair shop. ok, im done venting
