I rewired my trailer last fall with new LED tail lights. Overnight Saturday I retrieved my boat after a catfish tournament. Normally I leave my running lights on while strapping down the boat but for some reason they were off that evening. While walking back up to the truck to leave I noticed my license plate was more bent than normal. I figured I backed into something in my garage so I didn't pay much attention to it. I had to run my wipers for a minute and I saw a piece of wet paper under the wiper. It was a note saying someone had damaged my trailer and had a name, number, and address. On closer inspection one of my tail lights was dangling from the wires with the lens in pieces. I taped the fixture back on the trailer with most of the lens included. It isn't pretty but the light is still working and its been dunked in the water 3 times since being broken. I should be able to replace the light this weekend.

The bad news is the name, number, and address are all bogus so I'm out some $$ for a new light. I'm guessing someone witnessed the incident and the bazzturd acted honest by leaving a note. It's a shame the note is worthless.

Oh well, I hope his next time on the water his drain plug falls out.
