We recently acquired this boat and trying to get it squared away. While checking wiring I noticed ground wire running from ignition amplifier was wrapped around wires coming out of amplifier. Manual shows it running to post on distributor bottom. Could this be the cause of surging at around 4000 rpm, or just leave it as is?
