Welcome
Leaving key on for days might have over heated the coil. Disconnect the + side wire and see if it still blows

The coil was shorted and replaced.
So now it starts for a few seconds , soon as starter motor disengages the fuse will blow. Have checked for melted or shorted wires . Nothing obvious..

The fuse near the ignition key switch? should be a 20-amp fuse.

Possibly something got hot and created an internal short...Key switch maybe too...

First maybe try disconnecting the Red/Purple wire at the alternator, then the Purple at the alternator to see if the issue is within the alternator then try unplugging the Ignition control module...Would need to unplug one item at a time until it stops blowing if you can't find something visually.... That and start ohms testing the wires at certain areas testing resistance numbers.

Also check the accessory wire from the ign switch, rubbed bare somewhere and shorting to ground. It should be purple.
