Looking for a travel cover, highway use, for fisherman 1800. The one I have extends over the side about 6 in and is maring the paint when it flaps in the wind. Any suggestions ??? Does anyone make a snap on type cover ??? thanks in advance

You'll probably get more answers over there. personnally I dont like these manufacture forums because a lot of questions are generic to all aluminum boats. To answer your question. Call Lund and ask if they make a trailerable snap on cover for your boat. Call the company rather than the dealer because they tend to be a little more helpful. The dealer just wants to sell stuff. You don't necesarily have to buy it from lund. Commonly the genuine lund covers are found on ebay for reasonable prices.
