Tiller on a 50hp 4 stroke

Hi guys
Help me out, please
Just put a tiller handle on a 50hp 4 stroke 2009
Was wondering what the 2 smaller cables with connections were for
I found the other 2 terminals on the motor where I presume they go
Should they be connected and what are they
One of the terminals on the motor was covered with a cap

I'm not familiar with Yam four strokes. Should be in the on-line manual.
