Tiller on merc

I've got a 1987 8hp merc, At one time I was running it with remote steering and throttle. I got a NOS tiller and I have gone threw my shop manual and was not able to find were the cables go to put the tiller on. From looking at it I can see they rap around the end of the tiller. If I had another motor to look at I would be able to do it in a heart beat. What I an asking is if someone has a 87 8hp merc or something close to it, it would help me out a lot if I could see a pict of were the end of the tiller go's into the motor and how the wires rape around.<br /><br />Thanks for any help you may offer,<br />11

I got the picts I needed. I stoped by russos and took a pict if the tiller set up on a 2002 9.9 merc. Thanks for the help.<br /><br />11
