Hope this is the right section for this question. I presently have a 1988 johnson 60hp motor which had just the single shock assist I have the opportunity to purchase a working tilt and trim assembly which is on a 1996 johnson 60hp motor. This would be a parts mortor. Will this assembly from the 1996 work on my 1988? I can get this whole parts motto for $250.00. Thanks for any help
