tilt and trim motor question

1981 galaxy 1978 merc L6 165hp 165 merc outdrive , i need to where to put and how to put oil in my tilt and trim unit please.i thought it was on top of my trim motor but i was wrong. a quick response would be alsome because i have a club catfishing tournament tonight and need to get on the water as soon as i can . thanks george

Ayuh,... It'd be nice if We knew exactly Which trim pump you've Got...

I'll Guess,... There should be a couple of screws on the leading edge/ corner of the Reservoir,...
That's where it's Filled... 1 is the Fill screw, the other is the Vent screw...

bondo , i did not know there were different ones made for that motor sorry , the one i have is up and to the left of the starter and kinda looks like a square box with a round beer can size syclinder on top of it , which i found out to be the motor . but i did see one vent screw on left side of that syclinder. thanks george

Ayuh,... You listed a couple of different Years,+ Yes, there are several different trim pumps,...
Look around the Vent screw, the Fill screw is only Slightly larger...
