1981 galaxy with a 1978 L6 merc 165 hp and 165 merc outdrive, was wandering if the tilt and trim motor can be removed from the resovoir with out taking the entire unit off. to my knowledge i only have one tilt and trim motor back there . the motor im refering to looks like a beer can setting on top of the resovior which is located up and to the left of the starter which is as facing the front of the engine would be on your left side. thanks
