ok so im sure this has been posted before but i dont feel like searching to find it. ive got a 89 merc 40 and i believe my trim pump is getting weak. when i go to get on plane, i can visually see the trim pump leak down. im pretty mechanically inclined but i have never gotten into the hydraulics of the trim pump. my question is.. is the trim pump rebuildable or am i just sol? if its rebuildable ill be able to rebuild it, i just wasnt sure if it was possible/feasible. thanks for the help.
