Tilt and trim question

I have a 1998 Force 40HP ELT. On my 20 ft pontoon, I would like to install a trim gauge in my console but I am having trouble locating a wiring diagram to show which wires to hook it up to. It has a Mercury lee helm (throttle, Trim and gear shift) control.

Your wiring harness from the motor should have a wire already in it.
Look for one that's taped back.
Maybe brown??
