The connection of the hydrailic line to the tilt cylinder keeps leaking, are there any tricks to getting this connection sealed?

I bought a repair kit which included a new strap that goes around the outside of this cylinder with a new fitting that screws into it and connects to the hydraulic line but I didn't line it up correctly to the hole in the cylinder and it scored the edge of the hole a bit.

Can that hole be drilled out to smooth the edges? What size drill should I use?

That hole is made to match the taper on the fitting. You need to line everything up by hand and then tighten the fitting into the hole---NOT TOO TIGHT--just enough to not leak. Then with one wrench on the fitting to keep it from turning and another wrench on the hydraulic line fitting, tighten that one down good and tight.
There is some extra metal on the cylinder and the hole may be able to be dressed clean. I never did one but I suppose it may be an 82 degree countersink. CHECK BEFORE doing. If not later Force tilt cylinders did not have the metal band and fitting. The hydraulic line went directly into a boss on the cylinder.
