I was perusing the owner?s manual for my 2009 DF140 and it specifically states to not use the tilt lock mechanism during trailering?

It says to use a aftermarket product like a transom saver or something similar.

I found this http://www.m-ywedge.com/

Has anyone use it?

Or do you just use to tilt lock anyways????

Use a "deflopperizer" especially if the manual says not to rely on the tilt lock mechanism. That device is designed to lock the motor up while removing pressure from the tilt hydraulics while moored (provided you "bump" down to relieve that pressure). You will get many opinions on this so just believe the manual.
