tilt switches

I have a 1990 alumacraft with A 40hp force, I just bougt the boat wiring is missing to the toggle switch from the rear switch by the motor, the switch on the control works and the switch in the front does not work, I traced two of the wires to the battery from the front switch? i disconnected them. the front switch has a green, blue and purple wire where do they go and what and where do i hook up the wires from the back switch to?

I fixed it months ago, For those having the same problem, from the front and rear switchs the wires came out under the console. there wasnt anywhere to connect them so I made a little three way pigtail with bullet connectors and spliced it into the switch on the controls...6 months later works like a charm and havn't started any fires.
