tilt trailer

My trailer has the built in tilt function....you hit the latch in the middle of the trailer and the whole frame of the trailer tilts from the main beam hitched to my van.

Question....what the heck is this for? I haven't needed to use this. My trailer used to have rollers but I converted to bunks, so is the tilt useful at all?

If you don't need it, you don't have to use it. Certain ramps present launch issues (too shallow to float off is one of them). Using the tilt function essentially "dumps" the boat and also allows easier loading.

it comes in really handy on unimproved ramps. the old dirty ramps on the little out of the way lakes, & streams.
