I need to fill up my trim / tilt reservoir after repairing my pump motor. Does anyone know what fluid I need to use? I have a 91 Suzuki DT225. I see that suzuki makes their own fluid, but I will never be able to find that in my neck of the woods, so I am looking for an alternative.

Not sure where you heard that, but I haven't seen it to be the case.

Re: Tilt/Trim Fluid? What to use?

Thanks for the help everyone. I ended up using the Dexron III for now, as I needed to get this boat tested to ensure that it worked after all the problems and work I had done to it. I will replace the fluid once I come across the right stuff.
