Poke around on Ebay for a used CMC, that is really the best way to go, finding a working original TT is kind of a tall order and you will probably do alot of messing with it to get it to work and then you don't know how long it will work for.

The CMC is bolt on an they work, had mine for 7-8 years without a single problem and by the time you get the pump and relays ect it is probably about the same cost.

I would say no, the TT for a 70 won't work on your engine.

http://cook-mfg.net/cart/index.php?..._id=15&zenid=d9f369b433c84858cdaede809b6321c4 Available lots of places including here at iboats. They are quite costly but are very well made and reliable. They also hold their value wall so if you upgrade to a newer motor with integrated TnT at some point, you can probably sell you CMC for darn near what you paid for it.
