On a Rude 1984 90 horse. I had to use the release screw to lock it up today. Any thoughts?? Thanks!!

No not really, It makes the pump whirring sound going down, but nothing coming up, the rocker switch DOES stick and you have to be careful or the switch might stay in the up or down position, that could have happened?
