Re: Tilt/Trim help

does it stop in the same place every time? does the pump shut off or start grunting when it gets to that point?

Re: Tilt/Trim help

the outdrive stops, not the pump the pump is louder going up the down thats all no other diff noises. when the outdrive stops half way down, then i have to apply allittle pressure to the drive to get it down the rest of the way.

Re: Tilt/Trim help

Disconnect the cylinders from the drive and see if one of them is binding.

Re: Tilt/Trim help

would a really small fluid leak hurt it any where the hose goes to cylinder make this happen?

Re: Tilt/Trim help

The leak itself wouldn't cause it, but low fluid level in the pump might.
