Hi guys, ok i had an issue with the trim motor last year cleaned the terminals and worked fine.. Months later didnt work but after 20 presses ir worked.. Worked for months.. Now about to sell it and it wont work.. It just clicks from the rear.. Made sure all connections are getting 12-13v. But still justs clicks? If fluid is half way on the bottle will it cause the motor not to kick on? Or what can be the problem brothers?

Ayuh,.... Start there again,.... oil level don't matter,.....

If cleanin' the terminals do work, jumper across each solenoid, 'n see if it works,....

If Bondo's suggestion doesn't make it run. Your trim motor should have three wires, a black, a green and a blue. The black should be grounded all the time. The green should have 12V+ when the switch is in the down position and the blue when it's up. If you have this then the problem is in the motor.

Ayuh,..... Donno, you tell Us,.....

If it's a tight spot, pullin' the entire pump, 'n swappin' the motor on the bench or tailgate is probably how I'd do it,.....

The motor can be removed without disassembling the pump. However, if you have the square motor, the mounting screws are tucked in under the bottom of the motor. So as Bondo said, you may not have enough space with it in the boat.

If you have to hit the motor to unstick it, it's on way out. They always seem to put them in tight spots...4 screws in bracket disconnect hidrolyic lines...thinking pump u need is more than $60.

In your picture the screw head that you can see just below and to the right of the green wire is one of the ones that hold the motor to the pump. Do you think that you can undo the one in behind?

Ok guys it was very easy actually 2 screws that hold thar motor in place and 3 electric wires, a tight spot but a tiny 3/8 wrench and a hundred little turns got it out lol.
i opened the motor and it was rusted all over...
Luckily i found a new motor in ebay for $50 ..
no on to,the next issue, cleaning the carbs lol

Thanks guys for all the help
